Annie Bjurman
Frontend Developer
I’m a Master of Science in interaction and design and completed my thesis project at AM System in the spring of 2024. That same autumn, I officially joined the team. Today, I work as a Frontend Developer and Frontend Lead – which means I code what users see and interact with.
The best part of my job is being part of a small and tight-knit team where everyone collaborates across roles. This allows me to be involved in the entire process – from UX to backend – which makes the work both fun and rewarding.
In my free time, you’ll find me outdoors – hiking, fishing, swimming, or snowboarding are some of my favorites. I also play floorball and enjoy being creative through knitting and crafting.
Fun facts
- I once accidentally hooked a bird (an Arctic tern!) while fishing – it dove into the water, bit the lure, and unfortunately got caught.
- I’m currently converting an old VW T3 into a camper van for future adventures.
- I’ve witnessed a live volcanic eruption in Iceland – just a few hundred meters away – during the six months I lived there.
