Oh wow, how exciting with three new colleagues!

AM System has grown, with three(!) We say a warm welcome to our new colleagues; Johannes Eriksson, Olivia Ählström and Jessica Dellmar who have expanded our Umeå office. All have taken AM System by storm and contribute with positive energy, wise insights and a few training tips.
Team player in sales
Johannes Eriksson is our new Sales Manager and comes most recently from Norrmejerier where he has held various roles. Most recently as Product Manager for the fresh produce range and before that as Brand Manager and Project Manager. Before Norrmejerier, Johannes worked with sales at the software company CodeMill in Umeå and at the press service MyNewsdesk where he was regional manager.
- I hope to contribute with my background in both sales and marketing. To work at both ends to create a more seamless customer journey. And to grow the company. I hope my numeracy will also help us to work even more data-driven, says Johannes.
Chip & Dale at UX
Olivia Ählström and Jessica Dellmar are our new UX designers. They both studied the Master of Science in Interaction and Design at Umeå University and graduated in January. During their studies, they often worked together and are also colleagues as group training instructors, where they got the nickname Piff & Puff.
- For a while we were with each other during the day and as instructors in the evenings. We work very well together and are both inquisitive and determined. So it was exciting when we were applying for jobs as new graduates; we knew we would be applying for the same positions, says Jessica.
And that's how it turned out. AM System seemed interesting and one day they sat for a job interview hours after each other, with Anders Hultdin, CEO.
- It felt almost too good to be true when Anders and Åsa announced that they wanted to hire us both, says Olivia, laughing.
Contributing with new perspectives
Before university, Olivia worked in retail, most recently as a kitchen salesperson at Ikea. There she became curious about the salespeople's systems. To be involved in shaping the software behind the levers. It attracted her to her studies.
Jessica took the step via the school world instead. She worked as an after-school teacher and resource at an independent school in Umeå. She liked working with people but missed the technical side of things and working more creatively, with design and form.
- We are both so excited to work and tackle real problems. We've learned a lot at university and are finally getting to apply it, Olivia explains.
- We also hope that our outside perspective will come in handy at AM System. To challenge QMS and management systems as concepts and what it should solve for our target group, Jessica continues.
The whole trio is based at the office in Umeå and started after the turn of the year. So far, they have familiarized themselves with the company, the service, our history and planned educational study visits among customers.
Olivia and Jessica have been reading up on management systems and conducting interviews on the importance of quality management and certification among AM Systems' stakeholders.
Johannes has reviewed the company's growth targets and started to shape a new sales strategy. A new CRM system has also been introduced where Marketing, Sales and Customer Success will work together and create more digital ways of working.
What was it that attracted you to AM System?
- When I applied for the job, I already had another offer. And what attracted me to AM was that it is a small and family-owned company. Where I felt I could more easily influence and be heard, Olivia explains.
- Exactly! And at the interview, I clicked with Anders and the vision for the future. I recognized myself in the drive and forward thinking, Jessica continues.
- You feel that AM System wants to continue to develop. And I thrive when there is change. The ownership group is also very inclusive, which creates an environment where we can grow. Both as employees and as a company, Johannes adds.
Something unexpected we didn't know about you?
Here are some true statements, each of which applies to one of our new employees. So to make this part a little more tricky, you as a reader simply have to guess. We will release the correct answer after Easter.
- Who speaks the language of robbers fluently?
- Who is an apartment flipper in their spare time (buying, renovating and selling apartments)?

What about training tips?
To close the circle even further, Johannes also has a background as a fitness instructor. Right now he leads X-Training classes at USM. With Olivia you can train Core or Bodybalance at Friskvårdscenter at Teg in Umeå and with Jessica you can do Core or Bodypump at Storsjöhallen in Holmsund.
So with these recruitments, AM System can also offer a real investment in the wellness area. Is it allowed to be a triathlon in group training?
